A really interesting concept。 I actually read this because I heard that it’s tamer than the cat and mouse duet。 Enzo is amazing and I really like him but god Sawyer does annoy me even though I get it。

Holy Moly。 This book was worth all the hype it got。 I’ve had it sitting in my kindle library for a few weeks now and randomly decided today was the day to start。 When I tell you I struggled to put it down once I started I’m not lying。 It didn’t even feel like reading- it was like watching a movie， I pictured everything so well。 Which was also slightly terrifying because parts of this book were creepy AF。 This was my first book by this author and wow， I am impressed。 The writing style is somethin Holy Moly。 This book was worth all the hype it got。 I’ve had it sitting in my kindle library for a few weeks now and randomly decided today was the day to start。 When I tell you I struggled to put it down once I started I’m not lying。 It didn’t even feel like reading- it was like watching a movie， I pictured everything so well。 Which was also slightly terrifying because parts of this book were creepy AF。 This was my first book by this author and wow， I am impressed。 The writing style is something else。 Enzo and Sawyer met at a bar- she is on the run and has been stealing peoples identity。。 after a hookup she does the same to him。 He discovers her a couple weeks later and encourages her to come on his boat- before letting on that he’s aware of the situation and plans on punishing her himself。 Then they get caught in a storm and wind up on an island with a closed down lighthouse。 Cue madness。 This was fast paced， it had my heart racing， face heating， it had me theorizing。 It also has me questioning if I’ve possibly developed a new kink… 😂🙈 5/5 stars easily- as for spice it’s difficult to rate as everyone’s bar is different but this book doesn’t hold back with the spice， I’ll leave it at that。 。。。more

This is the first book I’ve read by H。D Carlton so I don’t know how her other books are。 I know this is supposed to be on the lighter side of her work but wow this book was amazing！ I didn’t want to put it down， there was a couple times I was scared yet couldn’t stop flipping the pages！ The 🌶️ was chefs👩🏻🍳💋。
